Company History
In 1944, Hosea Luter founded a local plumbing and electrical store ,which
originally operated out of his home but later moved a new location in
1948. This would later become Luter's Supply Company, Inc. Responding
to customer demand, he began shifting focus away from plumbing and
electrical items to kitchen and bath product lines. Hosea's son and current
Luter's Supply CEO, Emmette Luter, had a vision of creating a kitchen and
bath display that would attract customers outside of the small rural
community of Tylertown, MS. So in 1986, Luter's Supply Showroom was
built one block away from the original Luter's Supply warehouse.
